The President of UKE decided to gradually eliminate MTR asymmetries between P4 and PTK

2009-12-16

On 15 December 2009, the President of the Office of Electronic Communications issued under Article 29 of the Telecommunications Law a decision Ref: DHRT-WWM-6080-142/09 (18) modifying an interconnection agreement concluded on 20 November 2006 between Polska Telefonia Komórkowa Centertel Sp. z o.o. and P4 Sp. z o. o. with respect to the mobile termination rate in the P4 network.

When issuing the decision on the amendment of an interconnection agreement, the President of UKE took account of the obligation referred to in Article 44 of the Telecommunications Law, prohibiting P4 to apply excessive rates for terminating voice calls on the public mobile network of P4, imposed on P4 under the decision of the President of UKE Ref: DART-SMP-6043-10/07(34).

The President of UKE decided to gradually eliminate MTR asymmetries between new MNOs (P4 in this case) and the incumbent MNO (Polska Telefonia Komórkowa Centertel) according to the schedule specified in the table below.
