On September 16, 2002 the President of the Office of Telecommunications and Post Regulation, Mr. Witold Graboś, and the President of the Working Group on Frequency Management - the representative of German administration, Mr. Reiner Lebler, opened the 43rd session of the WG FM designed for radio frequency spectrum management.
WG FM is a working group of the Electronic Communication Committee CEPT (Conference Europeenne des Administrations des Postes et des Telecommunications), which is a European-wide cooperation body in the area of telecommunications assembling administrations of all European countries.
For many years Polish administration has been a CEPT member and has been actively participating in works of the Committee. CEPT experience and competence are used for example by the European Commission which cooperates closely in preparing European-wide regulations related to a frequency spectrum policy.
The Warsaw session takes place in Radisson Hotel SAS and will continue until Friday – September 20. About 130 representatives from almost 30 member states of CEPT take part in the session.
