Privacy Policy

1. The use of personal data

Personal data provided by users via electronic forms are processed in a manner consistent with the provisions of generally applicable law, in particular the Act of 29 August 1997 on personal data protection. Personal data collected from users are subject to adequate protection, in accordance with the aforesaid provisions. Only authorized employees of the Office have full access to databases, in line with the personal data protection policy of the Office of Electronic Communications.

At the same time, UKE informs that pursuant to Article 24 (1) of the Act of 29 August 1997 on personal data protection, the President of UKE with the seat in Warsaw (01-211), 18/20 Kasprzaka Street is the controller of personal data provided to UKE by users via electronic forms. The processing of personal data is performed to fulfil the statutory tasks of the President of UKE as regards the substance of the form and can be made available only to legally authorised entities. Providing personal data required in accordance with the generally applicable law is obligatory, whereas in other cases it is voluntary. At the same time, the natural person who is the data subject shall have right to access the data related to him/her and correct them.


2. The cookie mechanisms on the UKE website

In connection with the provision of Internet services, the Office uses the so-called cookies, i.e. computer data, in particular text files saved by the servers on the user’s terminal equipment that the servers can read every time there is a connection with terminal equipment.

Our website uke.gov.pl uses efficiency cookies which store information on how this website is used to improve its functioning, and functional cookies which help the website to "remember" the settings selected by the user and to personalize user interface (e.g. language, font size). The software used for browsing the web (browser), by default, allows storing cookies on the user's terminal equipment. Website users may change the cookie settings at any time. In particular, these settings can be modified in such a way as to block the automatic handling of cookies in the web browser settings or inform the user each time they are installed on the website user’s equipment.

If the cookie settings are not changed, then cookie files will be installed on the user's terminal equipment, thus we will store the information in the user's terminal equipment and have access to this information.

  • create statistics which i.a. support search engine optimization to help you reach the required information,
  • change the website's presentation or version (e.g. version for the visually impaired),
