PIIT has rejected the Added Services Quality Code

Contrary to previous agreements the Polish Chamber of Information Technology and Telecommunications (PIIT) has rejected the Added Services Quality Code, which was prepared in cooperation between the President of UKE and the Added Services Committee (ASC).

The Added Services Quality Code adjusted to requirements of the President of UKE

On 1 June 2011 the President of UKE finished arrangements with the Added Services Committee (ASC) on final provisions of the Added Services Quality Code imposing additional obligations on entities using Premium Rate numbering. The amendments to the Code were initiated by the President of UKE as a result of  discussions at the “Fair Deal Roundtable”.

    International activity of the President of UKE consists of, inter alia, cooperation with the European Commission, other EU institutions and Regulatory Authorities of EU Member State. It includes also the cooperation within organizations of which UKE is a member, i.e. the International Telecommunications Union (ITU), the Body for European Regulators of Electronic Communications (BEREC) and the European Committee for Postal Regulation (CERP).
