Anna Rogozińska, Director of the Department of International Cooperation of the Office of Electronic Communications, became the President of UKE’s Representative for International Affairs.
In her new role Anna Rogozińska will represent the President of UKE in contacts with the European Commission and other EU institutions and bodies, including the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC), as well as lead cooperation with Independent Regulators Group (IRG) and regulatory authorities of other states, and international organisations responsible for telecommunications and postal issues.
Her competences will also include representing the President of UKE during international conferences, sittings and meetings, with power to sign working documents, reports and any other documents summarising the aforesaid meetings.
Anna Rogozińska started to work for the national regulatory authority in 2011 as the chief expert in the Foreign Assistance Division in the International Department of the then Office of Telecommunications Regulation (URT) (subsequently the Office of Telecommunications and Post Regulation (URTiP) and the Office of Electronic Communications (UKE)). In 2008-2012 she was a national expert in the European Commission, where as a case handler she was dealing with cases of abuse of dominant position by telecommunications undertakings, as well as analysis of draft decisions of regulatory authorities in the light of competition law. She has been the Director of the UKE’s Department of International Cooperation since 2014.
