    We present to you a report showing data from 2016 on the telecommunications market and the telecommunications infrastructure.
    The President of UKE has annulled a 2007 tender for two general exclusive frequency licences in the 1710-1730 MHz and 1805-1825 MHz bands.
    Strategic lines of actions of the President of UKE for 2017-2021 define key areas of the NRA’s activities in the current term. The document specifies our mission, vision and main activities. It is an extract of more than 100 initiatives aggregated in almost 50 operational projects that we are launching.
    The work is underway on amendments to the Telecommunications Act and other laws. The amendments aim at simplification of procedures, increase in the efficiency of public access to the telecommunications services as well as facilitation of the dispute resolution between consumers and service providers.
    UKE actively participates in the work of the Ministry of Digital Affairs on the draft amendment of the Telecommunications Act, one of the main objectives of which is to improve the situation of subscribers in the premium rate services market.
    The Office of Electronic Communications, the Ministry of Digital Affairs, the National Institute of Telecommunications, research centres and telecommunications undertakings including, among others, T-Mobile Polska, Polkomtel, Orange Polska, P4, Netia, have signed an agreement on the "5G for Poland" Strategy.

    The President of the Office of Electronic Communications (President of UKE) is the national regulatory authority for the market of telecommunications and postal services. The President of UKE is also the specialised authority in the area of equipment conformity assessment, including telecommunications terminal equipment and radio equipment.

    International activity of the President of UKE consists of, inter alia, cooperation with the European Commission, other EU institutions and Regulatory Authorities of EU Member State. It includes also the cooperation within organizations of which UKE is a member, i.e. the International Telecommunications Union (ITU), the Body for European Regulators of Electronic Communications (BEREC) and the European Committee for Postal Regulation (CERP).
