Radio Spectrum Strategy

On 11 April 2007 The President of UKE presented the regulatory strategy on spectrum management. The document specifies national policy for electromagnetic spectrum management which will apply during two up to five coming years. The main concern of the strategy defined by UKE is to ensure the maximum benefit for the State, the society and the national economy that may be derived from the use of radio spectrum. The regulation in this area should strike the right balance between the interests of different radio spectrum users, implementation of innovative technologies and the need to guarantee effective and free from interferences use of spectrum as well as fair competition.
