End of the digitization process and nationwide analog television

Symbolical switch from the analog signal to the digital one was made together bythe  Minister of Administration and Digitization Michał Boni, President of the Office of Electronic Communications Magdalena Gaj, Chairman of the  National Broadcasting Council Jan Dworak and President of TVP Board Juliusz Braun.

3rd stage digitisation of terrestrial television

On 19 March, analogue terrestrial television signal from the transmitters in: Elblag, Rzeszów, Szczecin, Warsaw and Wisła will be replaced by digital signal. At the same time digital transmitters broadcasting programmes of the third multiplex (MUX-3) will be launched in these locations. In addition, the vast majority of converter stations working with the main switched-off analogue stations will be replaced with illuminating digital stations.

    International activity of the President of UKE consists of, inter alia, cooperation with the European Commission, other EU institutions and Regulatory Authorities of EU Member State. It includes also the cooperation within organizations of which UKE is a member, i.e. the International Telecommunications Union (ITU), the Body for European Regulators of Electronic Communications (BEREC) and the European Committee for Postal Regulation (CERP).
