Consultations regarding a decision for TP

An announcement of the President of the Office of Electronic Communications (UKE) of 12 October 2009

 

regarding the start of consultations on a draft decision of the President of UKE in which the President does not agree to alter her prior decision of 7 November 2006.

Pursuant to art. 16 paragraph 1 of the Telecommunications Law Act of 16 July 2004 (OJ 171, item 1800 as further amended ) the following announcement is being made:

1. 21 October 2009 is the start of consultations on a draft decision of the President of UKE in which the President denies to alter her prior decision which defined the indicators of accessibility and quality of universal service provision by changing the indicator, set for Telekomunikacja Polska S.A. designed as the entity providing nationwide universal service, referred to as a draft decision of the President of UKE.

2. The subject of the consultations is a draft decision of the President of UKE.

3. The draft decision with its justification is available on UKE's website (http://www.uke.gov.pl) and at UKE's premises in 18/20 Kasprzaka St. in Warszawa (room 215).

4. The entities interested in expressing their positions on the draft decision of the President of UKE are requested to submit their opinions within 30 days of the day on which consultations are launched, from 8.15 till 16.15 at UKE's premises in Warszawa, 18/20 Kasprzaka St. in the Main Office - room 4, in a written form with an annotation: 

„Stanowisko
dotyczące projektu decyzji Prezesa Urzędu Komunikacji Elektronicznej odmawiającej zmiany decyzji Prezesa Urzędu Komunikacji Elektronicznej określającej dla Telekomunikacji Polskiej S.A., jako przedsiębiorcy wyznaczonego do świadczenia usługi powszechnej na obszarze całego kraju m.in. wartości wskaźników dostępności i jakości świadczenia usługi powszechnej poprzez zmianę wskaźnika."

5. The outcomes of the consultations and unrestricted opinions of the participants will be announced, pursuant to art. 16 paragraph 2 of the Telecommunications Law Act of 16 July 2004:

1) on the information board at UKE's premises in Warszawa, 18/20 Kasprzaka St.;

2) in UKE's bulletin;

3) on UKE's website (http://www.uke.gov.pl/).
