Draft documentation for tender of frequencies in the range of 2010 – 2025 MHz and 2500 – 2690 MHz for broadband wireless access networks in the mobile service.

  

  

ANNOUNCEMENT
of the President of the Office of Electronic Communications of 21 October 2008

regarding the launch of consultations on the tender of 18 frequency reservations in the range of 2010 – 2025 MHz and 2500 – 2690 MHz, in the area of the entire country, dedicated for the provision of services in broadband wireless access networks in the mobile service.

   

Pursuant to art. 16(1) of 16 July 2004 – Telecommunications Law Act (Official Journal 171, pos. 1800 as further amended) it is hereby announced that:

1. On 24 October 2008 a process of consultations is launched regarding 18 frequency reservations in the range of 2010 – 2025 MHz and 2500 – 2690 MHz, in the area of the entire country, dedicated for the provision of services in broadband wireless access networks in the mobile service.

2. The consultations pertain to the following draft documentation:

1) tender announcement for 18 frequency reservations in the range of 2010 – 2025 MHz and 2500 – 2690 MHz, in the area of the entire country, dedicated for the provision of services in broadband wireless access networks in the mobile service;

2) the decision of the President of the Office of Electronic Communications regarding 18 frequency reservations in the range of 2010 – 2025 MHz and 2500 – 2690 MHz, in the area of the entire country, dedicated for the provision of services in broadband wireless access networks in the mobile service;

3) documentation for tender of 18 frequency reservations in the range of 2010 – 2025 MHz and 2500 – 2690 MHz, in the area of the entire country, dedicated for the provision of services in broadband wireless access networks in the mobile service.

3. Draft documents which are subject to consultations are available on the official website of the Office of Electronic Communications (http://www.uke.gov.pl) and in the headquarters of the Office of Electronic Communications, situated at: ul. Kasprzaka 18/20 in Warsaw, room nr 807.

4. Entities interested in presenting their views and opinions to the draft documents which are subject to consultations are requested to submit their comments till 10 December 2008, 8.15 – 16.15, in the headquarters of the Office of Electronic Communications at: ul. Kasprzaka 18/20 in Warsaw, in the main secretariat, in a written form adding:

"Views and opinions on tender for 18 frequency reservations, in the range of 2010 – 2025 MHz and 2500 – 2690 MHz, in the area of the entire country, dedicated for the provision of services in broadband wireless access networks in the mobile service

5. The results of the process of consultations and unrestricted opinions of the participants of the consultations pursuant to the provisions of art. 16(2) of the Telecommunications Law Act of 16 July 2004 will be announced:
1) on the information board in the headquarters of the Office of Electronic Communications at: ul. Kaprzaka 18/20 in Warsaw;
2) in the Bulletin of the Office of Electronic Communications;
3) at the website of the Office of Electronic Communications.
