Comments of the President of the Office of Electronic Communication (UKE) to positions received during the consultation proceedings concerning the tender for two general exclusive nationwide frequency licences, each of them comprising 49 duplex radio- channels in the range 1710-1730 MHz and 1805-1825 MHz on the area of the country to be utilised in a public telecommunication network
These comments present the position of President of the Office of Electronic Communication (hereinafter referred to as “the President of UKE”) to remarks and opinions received during the consultation proceedings, held from 23 of March to 23 of April 2007, concerning the tender for two exclusive nationwide frequency licences (hereinafter referred to as “the Licence”), each of them comprising 49 duplex radio- channels in the range 1710-1730 MHz and 1805-1825 MHz on the area of the whole country to be utilised in a public telecommunication network.
The comments refer to views and opinions presented to the President of UKE. Views presented in multiple places of one consultation position or in some positions of any other entity commented previously have not been commented again. Longer discussions and arguments have been omitted and reference has been made to theses they justified.
In the form and time defined in the announcement, UKE received seven opinions, including one confidential position that, in accordance with Article 16 (2) of the Telecommunications Law, were not to be published and is not covered by these comments.
